Are you laboring on Labor Day? What is Labor Day? Use QuickBooks and Apps to Automate. Wikipedia describes Labor Day as:  a celebration of the American Labor Movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of their country. Labor Day in the United States is celebrated on the 1st Monday of September. The equivalent holiday in Canada , “Labour Day”, is also celebrated on the 1st Monday of September. In many other countries (more than 80 worldwide), “Labour Day” is synonymous with, or linked with International Worker’s Day, which occurs on May 1. It is celebrated with parades in many areas and fun outdoor picnics and barbecues are plentiful on Labor Day.
